Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 1, 2026

This policy describes what personal information is handled when you read teseco.it, a blog about environmental services, energy recovery and contemporary art, and what choices you have. The operator is whoever runs the blog, and when this page says we or us it means that operator.

Visit logs

The servers that deliver teseco.it keep standard logs. An entry can hold your IP address, the time of the request, the page asked for, your browser and device type and the referring page. We use them to keep the blog available, to find faults and abuse, and to see broadly which articles on waste, energy or art are read. Our lawful basis is the legitimate interest in running a secure and working website.

Cookies and similar technology

Teseco may rely on small files or browser storage needed for pages to load and display correctly. Nothing beyond that is in place for tracking readers. If the site ever adds analytics, advertising or affiliate tracking, this policy will be updated first and the change described here.

Browser controls and opt-out signals

Your browser lets you refuse or erase stored cookies, open private windows, or add privacy extensions that cut down on tracking. If your browser sends a do-not-track or global privacy signal, we will honour it as an opt-out wherever the technology behind the blog permits. Embedded media may behave differently when storage is blocked.

Emails you send

When you write to [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to answer you, to fix an error in an article about recycling plants, heat recovery or an exhibition, and to keep a record of the exchange. The basis is your request and our legitimate interest in handling correspondence. We do not sell messages and will not publish one without asking.

Newsletters and forms

If a newsletter or form is offered on teseco.it, the details you enter are used only for what you asked, for example sending an issue. Consent is the basis for that use. Each mailing will explain how to unsubscribe, and you may also ask by email.

Outside services

Publishing a blog depends on outside providers, chiefly hosting and content delivery. If the blog carries embedded content such as a video of an installation or a map of a facility, that provider may receive technical details of your visit so it can display. Any analytics, ad or affiliate partners the site might add later would be covered here before going live. These providers handle data under their own notices.

Retention

Visit logs are kept only for a short working period before they are erased or boiled down to counts that identify nobody. Emails are kept while they help us answer you, correct an article or meet a legal duty, and are then deleted. Newsletter details, if any exist, stay until you unsubscribe.

Access, correction and deletion requests

Depending on where you live, you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to some uses, and receive a portable copy. Email [email protected] and say what you want. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will reply within the period the law sets.

Withdrawing consent

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like. The Cookie Policy page linked in the footer of teseco.it explains the steps, and an email to us works as well.

Complaints to a regulator

If you think your data has been mishandled, you may complain to your local data protection authority if you are in the EU, EEA or UK, or to the OAIC if you are in Australia. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, but you are never required to go through us.

Young readers

Teseco covers technical and cultural subjects aimed at adults, and teseco.it is not meant for anyone under 13. We have no wish to hold a young person’s details. A parent whose child has sent a message to the blog can email us, and we will delete that message on request.

Security

We use secure connections and limit who can open the inbox and the hosting account. No system on the internet is perfectly safe, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection of what you send.

Data crossing borders

Hosting and delivery providers for teseco.it may handle data in countries other than your own, where legal protections may differ. Using the blog means your technical visit data may travel in this way.

Updates to this policy

If the blog adds a feature or the rules on personal data shift, this text will be edited to match. The effective date above marks the current version, and continuing to read teseco.it after an update means you accept it.

Your consent and the regulator

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything done before. The cookie policy page lists every cookie this site sets and explains how to change your choice. If you live in the EU, EEA or UK you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office); in Australia, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
